Dear F & M -
I am fully satisfied my Dearest parents will
be somewhat surprised yet happy in hearing so soon from
their Son altho they would rather the very man before him. I write Brother Saml & Sister A?(indecipherable)
(indecipherable) this will be but a short letter ..... I feel a pleasure in stating
that as yet I have not wished to be back neither have I been
so ill as expected ....tis true that a sea life is not the
most pleasant. However trusting I am in the right
way that I should go it me gives much pleasure
to look forward to the day that I shall behold
my dearest friends & relations again yet then
again I find a trifle something wanting
namely a lone shall I a very ?(indecipherable) a weak creature be
able to speak in the name of Cx - Sometimes I
feel cast down and fear to go forward at the others anxious
to be found seeking knowledge that I may be enabled to
impart the same I am fully persuaded the Lord
alone can give wisdom and he will not withhold it
from them that seek it of him. O that I may be
enabled to seek it in that way which is most
right in his sight.....Please return Mr & Mrs
Hoskings my sincere thanks for their great kindness
to me before I left Sydney. Indeed I fear we
were very troublesome to them. I
