April 16th Tuesday Night
As I have returned eaerlyl from the
Parsonage tonight and have a long evening
to pass alone I think I shall not be doing any
wrong if I ? the home to my dearest
Thomas particularly as James is of opionion we
may correspond with our Christian friends
on Sunday (?). I sincerely wish all letter writing
were done away with between us - ? and Thas
we were one more united & peacefully
settled. I begin to think it long since
I saw you & there appears no prospectd of its
being otherwise for I aw Mr Scott today
coming out of Camden & she did not appear as if
any thing was determined upon for we only
imagined ? wk am
