My very dear Brother
I am sorry that circumstances ?
me sending my long epistle promised by the Dromada

it to go by Friend Eagar I have written on too heave
a sheet of paper to send you ? not having any
suitable in my possession therefore in order to save
expence to you shall substitute it by a smaller
and enclose a second of Exhange for £100 having
forwarded a first of ? by W. H. Cowper - ? Dromedary
he is going to complete his professional studies
as doctor in London - we expect Mr Eagar will
sail in about 3 months from hence & should no other
Friend leave before I shall send my budget by him
A most natural enuiry with you under late
Circumstances will be how is my dear old Mother
my Sisters and my Brothers? THey are all tollerably
well Mother bears far better than we could have
been expected, however the poor old Dame has many
thanks to hurt her feelings and envy the mid
Lieut King is trying to do all he can to injure
us which he also did prior to the dissolution of
our Dear Father - I often wish you ? that we
might advise together becuase you know 'tis said
two heads are bettter than one Indeed I have proved
the matter - Mother has paid your last Bill to Mr
