My very Dear Broth
Having an opportunity of
writing to you by our Dear Friend Revd S.M. cannot re
fraign imbracing the same, perhaps it may be the last you may
receive from your unworthy Brother, whilst you remain in this
country, but trust, I ? have the pleasure of writting to
you in ? - where you are going - May our Blessed
Redeemer who was crcified and bore all the miseries of this
life, that through him you and I are all the followers
of our Lord and Saviour Christ, migh be saved and released
from the body of sin - who alone is able to preserve you -
me - and all Mankind neither by Land or by Sea or in any
other situation in life - Save save tou from all temptations,
of body and Spirit, whilst on the Mighty Ocean, and waft you
safe to your intended haven, and there Store your
mind, with his sacred truth, and inable you (if it
should please his most gracious providence to all
you to return) to proclaim to us, and reveil his holy
will to all his people, there by Making you a faith-
ful, and useful, Minister of his heavenly Vineyard -
and raise up this unworthy creature to supply you
