poor dear Mary since – They are well & she as contented –
as under existing circumstances, can be expected – Remember
me, most kindly to W. S. Davidson – his Nephew Walter Leslie – I have
seen frequently of late – he was in this part of the Country awaiting
the arrival of Mr. Donaldson – perhaps he may have returned to
Moreton Bay – remembrances to Archdeacon Scott – I see his name
not infrequently in a Northumberland paper – these are sent to
Dr Anderson who resides still at The Cottage, you, as well as
Mr. Scott must so well remember – Emmeline writes with me
in affect. love, and fervant wishes for your health & comfort – I
hope I may receive a letter from you again soon – These last were
of such old date – What is done with S. O'Connell? – I wonder
Once more God bless you My dear Edward – prays your ever affect. Mother
