so many places of great interest, making
such a happy party. I cannot compress
a tolerable narrative into small [indecipherable].
Upon enquiring yesterday afternoon at the
General Post Office I found a letter
from Barton & Guesteir at Bordeaux,
enclosing invoices of the wine I ordered
for Camden and for Edward, as well as
a letter from Donaldson & Lambert advising
me of safe arrival in the river of the
wine in question, and of their having
arranged to ship that for Sydney in the
"Nourmahal" and that for Melbourne
in the "Neptunes Bride". I shall enclose
with this a copy of Bartons & Guestiers
invoice - which gives the expenses to
London, but fear I shall not be enabled
to add the expenses of transhipment
& freight out or bill of lading. I
have still however 2 days before I
need dispatch this for the Oneida
and I may get the necessary particulars
in time. In addition to that there will
still be the contents of a [indecipherable] of
Chateau de Carbonnieres, a Grave wine
