does not seem the worse for it
He wishes very much to work
but I feel a litte anxious about it
and will not allow him to work
more than two hours a day yet
with a little afternoon preparation
he looks well, & they are both
very happy here – living out of
doors out of lesson time

I have not had any letters
except yours, & one from my
constant friend Mrs Martin
since I came – I always look out
for your little notes –
