27 HONEY SUCKER
This Bird Resorts in what are called the Honey Suckle Trees in this Country; its food arising from the Honey which it finds in the Flower or seed (a specimen of which is here given) this it extracts with its Tongue, which is long and divided at the extremity into small filaments similar to a Hair Pencil. This Drawing is as large as Life. Native Name Bindelong

29 SPARROW 1, TOM TIT 2, FAN TAIL 3 & ANT KILLER 4.
This Group of little Beauties is given as a Specimen of the Smaller Birds of this Country, of which species they are however by far the handsomest, the first two are as great Enemies to fruit as their Namesakes in England. The last mentioned lives on small Ants that dwell in large Trees, from which it takes its Name; these it takes with its long tongue which is somewhat simillar to that of the Honey Sucker: it is singular of the little Bird called the Fantail that the long Feathers which compose its Tail, all grow from one stem or Quill. REGENT
This charming Bird is given as large as Life, but, the colours of the Artist convey but a feint Idea of the Beauty of those with which it has been by Nature adorn'd. They are indeed of the Richest kind, and peculiar to itself alone, its feathering or plumage is also remarkable, nor can the Richest Velvet vie with it, for texture or elegance of appearance. I am, I believe, the first possessor of any of its kind, and having procur'd the specimen from which the Drawing here given is taken, on the same day that I receiv'd in this distant part of the World the news of the Regency Restrictions on His Royal Highness the Prince Regent, having been taken off, as a small tribute from the Esteem I bear that exalted Character, I have named it as above.
