The undersigned Citizens of the County of Luman and State of Texas most respectfully recommend, our fellow Citizen Henry D. Woodsworth Esq as a suitable person to Receive the appoint=tment & of Commissioner in Chancery of Commissioner of deeds for the State and the undersigned take pleasure, in recommending him as one in Every way qualified to discharge the duties incumbent upon that officer; by granting this Petition you will Confer a favor on many citizens of the State, and as in duty bound we will ever (pray?) &c
