Mr N.S. Brown dear sir

Dr Rowles in formed me that you had received twenty five dollars of the money due me at Nashville which I thought I had settled with you in the gordin note but if it is not write and there is that due you pleese see Dr Rowles and do me the faver as I am in much neede of rec cing me the money that was com ing there and get your fees from Pulaski as the turn pike compan y has no clame on that and you will be intitled to your fees let it go which way it may please let me now what a mount was com ing there so I close by tendering to you my best respect.

I write you a few lines in closed seperate giving my opinion a bout the fees you Claimed you (?) we settled in Lawrence Burg and I gave you all the gardin note but then last september I went to pulaski and spoke to you to attend to it in case Dr Rowls should not come as I want ed it to come on that cort then if you charge me twenty five dollars for that you are write if not you are wrong. I want you to see what money there was due me and write to me amedintl now I shall state a bout the same in the letter but means no harm to you beleving you will do me Justice but if you be leve all is due to you see Dr Rowles and send me the meoney the money that is there as I am very needy and you can get the fees due you all out of the moneyhere at pulas ki which you are in title to let it be acered as it may
