and fifty.
The ground for the State of Tennessee
duly summoned elected (?) (?) and
charged to (?) for the body of the county of
Polk in the State of Tennessee aforisaid upon their
oath present that on the second monday of
February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and forty nine being the twelth day
of said month of Febrary a circuit couty of
law was opened and held in the town of Benton
for the conty of Polk and state aforsaid, by
the honorable charles (?) one of the Judges of
the circuit courts of Law in and for the said sate of ^Tennesse
and assigned to open and hold said circit court
for the county of Polk aforsaid.
And the (?) aforsaid upon their oath aforsaid
do further present that at no said circuit court
opned and helf for the county of Polk as aforsaid
a (?) jury was duly summoned elected (?)
-(?) (?) and charged to (?) for the body
of county of Polk in the state of Tennessee
ofcorsaid, and that William W Piercy late of
the county of Polk in the State of Tennessee (?)
