They have got a governness up at Uncle Hirams. She is a young widow; part French and part German. She is a queer woman she lost her husband and child a short time before a few weeks ago, but think she is about as well off without them, She teaches both French and German.

We some expect Mr Stergers to teach in the school house this summer. You know he taught for Uncle Hirams children for a month or two this Spring. They all thought he was a very good teacher.
We expect to get a girl as soon as possible. We dont have time for study or any thing else but work just now. All at The Grove want to see you and speak of you often. I wish I could have been with you while you were sick to but hope you will be well soon
