You don't answer my letter want to hear from you - Tell me about Frank Rielly Good old Frank God bless him - give him my warmest love - Are you going South? I go this fall, if possible - Lole. & all are well - [illegible] are as poor as Jobs Turkey just escaped breaking and terribly bent yet - Have you been presented at the White House if not, when you are remember me to Miss Harriet Lane - than been mixed up in a darned love affair (not of my own) all winter (this is a secret for you alone burn this letter) if possible come and stay a month or two with us, if you do not go south - Dont for heavens sake Bobb let Ambition or any other cause estrange your heart from your friends in Gowanda - I hope you are improving rapidly and becoming truly noble & good in Washington Do you enjoy yourself - are you happy & content, Tell me of your triumphs and most of all of yourself.
