I quite forgot to get you to draw checks to pay some debts in Chicago. I borrowed $4. of Frank and did not pay Loomis Abbot & Chapman (at wheeler’s old hardware store) $7.08 which I owed em for the tin boxes candlesticks etc. – wish you would please send Frank a check for $11.08 and the enclosed card, and ask him to pay the hardware men.

We go to milwaukee tomorrow Lapham wrote Hoy[?] that he would get us all free passes and probably go along himself – Lapham is preeminently a brick with all the corners on
