Dear Major

no time tonite [illegible] 10000 [illegible] for a while now must write a dozen or [illegible] letters to day to accompany the enclosed circulars which tell them own story as to my plans -

I am not in the least discouraged by Gov Bissels letter to father - Quite otherwise - He didnt know how little time and money are necessary.

I got your letters written Christmas eve - Good boys and girls - and good mother to put you up to it -

I would have valued the letters still more if I could have read them! as it is they are mostly illegible - Your Greek like hieroglyphics I made out best of all - couldnt read much of Charlies letter excepting about the "tucks" - The Boyden must write me a longer letter nor that.

Ill write good letters as soon as I get more time - I shall still expect father till I hear sure that he doesnt come or see him here - I [illegible] on horesback every day now - Stimpsons
