My Dear Cousin

Cora was writing to you and so I thought I would write to. Mother and Vick, and baby, and myself came down to the Grove to day, Tammy Morgan is the nicest boy I ever saw, and I gess you would think so if you could see him rock a chair.

[letters crossed out] We have a teacher this winter, he is an old man I dont like him as well as [letter crossed out] our other teachers.

Mr Morgan gave his name sake a silver cup this winter. I think it is an very prity

Mother is going home, so I cant write any more.

From your Cousing Rose [letters crossed out]
