confoundedly hard up fellow you ever did see for a moth month or so as Ive received th nothing from the Mich Univ - Trowbridge has sent for the nony[?] now, however, and I'll be all straight. The prospect is that Ill get no immediate pay for my summers work but I'm looking ahead - Will get employment at some rate next winter - as a result of my summers operations.
I have now finished the prelim inary examination of all the snaiks and written out the specific characters of all with a complete monograph of most - some 30 or 40 new species - part of these published in Mex[?] Boundry[?] Rep.[?] -
Possibly Ill be sent to Laramie Peak instead of Hudsons Bay
Love to all Son Bob
