I think you asked me to write to you at New York I dont know what for I have nothing today and I think I intimated that I would. I dont know what that was for for I did not expect to have any thing today But I [illegible] -

I heard from The Grove last eve. Cora's back lamer - otherwise about as usual.

Alice came up from the South last eve and went home to The Grove today. she is quite well &c

I am a little blue tonight indigestion prob -

If I had any thing more to say to you I should say it - not having I stop
