I got a letter from you yesterday - wish I had another to night -

I've spent the three last days with Geo Walker - Good boy Geo Walker is and we had jolly good times together - The Megatheria like him and he seems to like the Megatherium. he preyed with the Megatheria and part of the Megatheria preyed with him to night.

I just came here from Willards where Carabus & I took dinner with Geo. [illegible] and Mr Harding of Ill. -

I commence work tomorrow after a 'spell' of three days idleness
