My Dear Mother
I got here about toowo ours ago, Bob is quite well. I am very well, but sum tired shall be all right in the morning. We are going to Prof Bairds this evning.
I had no truble at all in geting here. I will write the whole Story next letter.
Dos Tady talk yet? d has he grown much? I should like to See him very much, and all the rest of you too. How is Alice and Cora kiss them for me.
How did Flint injoy N his visit to Chicag. how are all of you. give my love to all the folk, and meny kisses to your self.

Bruno seems all right and Ill keep him all right - Ross will stop with us - I've lots of things to attend to and no time to write now - Bruno is a little sleepy and tired Ill not make him work till tomorrow when Ill get him and Mr Ross both at the eggs -
Mrs Baird is quite sick and Prof B has been obliged to take her to Philadelphia for medical advice - I'm left in charge of the ornithological department and Ill put the new comers through. Bruno is a
