Girls room Thursday evening

Dear Bob.

"Someway" I can't get time to write half as much as I ought, or as I wish to. I sew[underlined]. sew[underlined], from morning till night or do something equally necessary and, "can't leave off to write", or "will wait till next time"

I have been sewing all day until my head aches and I am tired, I dread the hurry and confusion of this Spring, more than I ever did a Spring befor, seems to me; Maj and Father don't get along well together.

We have had one pleasant day and then one rainy one this long time, so you can imagine the state of the roads ect.

Maj went to Chicago Tuesdy to buy Lumber, wire rope ect, came home last night. He brought

Co and I each a little flower in a pot, they are as fresh and sweet as real[underlined] spring flowers. We have crocuses in bloom. Shall have lots of flowers by the time you get home.

A storm seems to be brewing outofdoors, judgeing by the angry looking clouds, and the moaning of the wind.

Had a letter from Charlie to day, he says their selling prospect is not very good. I hope he will make some sales.

We shall all be glad to see you but sorry you can't stay longer

We were in hopes you would be at home, at lease part[underlined] of the Summer. and have made lots of plans to do thing when "Bob comes home", like going to Evanston ect. All well as usual and lots of love and kisses from Dalce
