We have been perusing the different Nursery Catalogues in our possession to find where we can probably purchase a bill of fruits & Ornamentals to the best advantage, & have Concluded to buy of you provided ourterms of Payment will Suit you. We are very Considerably embaressed by past losses together with the inabelaty of customers to whome we have sold trees to pay us Consequently we Could not with any "degree of Justice to ourselves promise to pay Short of 6 mos & if a bill of over $100 be taken would ever want longer time on a part - If we had ay - assurence the future harvest would be[strikethrough] yield a good crop we could without doubt collect & pay at 6 mos with[strikethrough] but that is the best we could do" - If nessessary we will give you Security or refeference which

My Experence in Ornamentals generally is rather limited consequently felt safer in leaving the selection to your better Judgment
