Dear Doctor, Yours of 11th last was duly received. As soon as I receive the gooseberries I will forward them to you. am having some two hundred or more in my cellar if they do not arrive early, I will send you some of them. The currants be spoken of I have not in quantity or would beglad to send them. In regard to the trees for Mr. Fishback ( what a name) I can spare him 2000 half 3 yr old and bal 4& 5 yr old grafts at 125$ per 1000 in 4 months with ??? in Bank here if the references are right and you may if you please refer him, or others (whom you consider desirable customers) that you cannot accomodate to me. I have sold the land on which my trees stand and rather than have to rent I wish to sell them to good men. I have a large quantity of trees from 3 to 5 and some few 6 yrs old. I lost vast numbers a yearago which make my nursery look very "ugly" as I did nothing to thewounded ones last year. obliged for the many favors recd from you I am, thanks very truly J T Kitter
