Stilesville Hendricks Co. Ind. May 3rd 1857 Messrs John A & Charles Kennicott I wish to get a few hundred cuttings of the white grape- Current. I have tried at several nurseries and have failed to get them. I called on my friend, Larity of Green -castle a few days since, and he had none- he gave me your address and advised me to write to you for them for he thought you had them, and it would not be too late to take them if you have them and it is not too late to take them please send me four hundred or if too late for cuttings send me one hundred with roots. - and I will send you the money on the receipt of the article. I would send you the money now but you may not have them or when this comes to hand it may be too late to take them. I would like very much to have them. I am cultivating the grapevine here, but the seasons are too cold. I lost a food many vines last winter. Please send me a catalogue of your nursery. Ship to Crittendon on the Terrehaut & Richmond Mail Road.
Yours Respectfully Thomas Wilson
