I received a letter from your enquiring about the trees you sent me they came safe and 18 out of the 23 is growing fine and all of Mrs Coles lot is growing Except the Yellow Rose and the Running Honeysuckles everything else looks fine our season is backwards wheat is just commencing to be curt I have near 600 acres of wheat and I will turn from 15 to 25 bushels an acre I supose I will see you at Peoria at the fair. I have the best lot of vslves I ever have raised will some 25 head of cattle in all to the fair. I got a Morgan Horse from Vermont this spring which cost 2000 Dollars Should be glad to hear from you at any time Yours Respectfully A.G. Castle
