Dear Dr Yours of 6 just only came to hand on Saturday night lastI still receive my letters at Chicago I never think of asking at the Evanston P.O. It was only by accident that I got it at all- I have this money deposited with J. H. Ranch & ? as shown by memos, enclosed $ 115.00 to your credit. I could not find my bill but reccollect that it was ninety something , the Cal. was 23.50 I suppose the amt $ 115 is near the mark- I regret that your letter did not arrive for me to answer before you must have left for Peoria- supposing you to be absent i direct to you or Mrs K that she may know that the many is to your credit - Hoping it may still arrive in time for your need

P.S. I havebeen trying for 4 weeks to go over to the Grove & intend to keep on trying until I make it into ??????????? bulbs & perennial herbacious plants yours ever W Z B
