Chicago Thursday morn Feb 18/58 Dear Doctor I am sorry that I have put you to so much inconvenience but I took it for granted that they were trees already to move as I had a perfect understanding with Charlie and [illegible] to that at first- There was a great mistake made when the trees were first [illegible] in not waiting for a proper depth of frost - and anothermistake made in allowing them to freeze into the groundagain after they were dug- I am very much disappointed that the other large trees which I selected are not ready to move [illegible] if he has paid any attention to it. will remeber them but its too late to be it now and I must wait till another winter when I hope we shall be bettter prepared I expected to burrow [illegible][illegible]
