Sagaw March 6 th 1858 Messrs Kennicotts I recd your letters & catalogue some time since & have endeavored to get some of my neighbors to join me in the under taking but although they want trees as much as I do still they considre my sending to Illinois for them as an experiment & stand back to see how I succeed & I have no doubt {if I am fortunate in getting my trees in good order} but I could get enough to [illegible] buy one or two Thousand. Enclosed you will find Eight Dollars $8.00 for which you will please send me a receipt sta -ting on what day you started the trees. Direct the trees to the care of C.F. Tracy N West cor comercial & Olive St., St Louis Mo & please write to him to ship them on the first boat for Sioux City or Dakota to F. Walker Dakota City N.Y. for yours JC C. F. Parker
