Centralia Ill March 8th 1858 John A Kennicott Dear Sir Your fqvour of March 3rd is at hand &c[illegible] In regard to shipping the apple seedling, you will please ship them as soon as you can safely-- I leave that entirely to you - trusting that your long experience in packing and shipping= will warrant success. Can you furnish sweet potatoes or plants if so - what amount will be necessary to plant on an acre of land what will be the cost -&c-&c-- Enclosed please find $15, for which you will send me one number of the prairie Farmer- and place the balance to my accoutn &cVery Respectfully yours A.
