Belvidere Apl ( April) Messrs Kennicott I was surprised to learn that my first leter had not come to have in my order for trees was nine. I thnk of Norway Spruse 8 American Balsam and fear I shall not at this late day get nice trees if you canot send them to me as you represented in your letter last fall Then I do not want them I want the two varieties preciselty of a height or if you have not The two varieties of a height Then let the spruce compare with each other and The Balsam likewise The dwarfs & perennials I want for a particular place for oranmental rather than otherwise and wanted E Harvest & Red as trac an(above trac) and wanted the trees of [crossed out words] of each kind to compare with each other as near as possible also 6 Prince Albert current Written in a box: I think now of nothing else S.W. Bristol 6 short bunch red " 25 white Grape " 6 Houghton Grape " & 6 ea of 2 other kinds if you can furnish those that will not mildew Pye plant my ates Sineas if you have it but no other 6 of those 6 Roses such as you would like in your own garden
