The remainder (225) was handed to me by a lady in ourt town. for the purpose of sending to you for a small bill of roots. And as I had lost your catalogue I could not tell her the prices. so she instructed me to write to you to send her two [Dialetra Spectabillis] roots. four Peonia Roots the finest varieties you have except the white and Double crimson these two she has got. also the finest tree Peonia that you have and if you have got any fine specimens of any kind that you with to introduce she wants you to send her 2 or tree of them also and what ever the bill is she will send you the ballance immediately. She is a lady of

I would like to get you to send me a Sweet scented shrub. one upright Honeysuckle (The finest you have) The finest moss Rose. I got me of them from you last spring but it died. one carmine rose. one [campanula Grandiflora] one Double [blush ]Rose of Sharon, Now if you will send me the above Small lot of roots and wait 3 or 4 week, for the moeny you shall have it in that time but if you do not feel disposed to do so there will be no harm done.
