[Seriwhe] April 14"/59Dr Kennicot. I open the letter I wrote last evening for Mr Latham to send you the enoied order from Mr. John Wyatt. He is a brotherin law of Mr Latham and is a partner with him in an extenive inact of land [adgommg] this [town] a [illegible] portion of which he is [friing] up for his own use_ He [illegible] hes me to say to you that he cannot will make the payment before [14th ]August next but at that time I will be certain. and if that will such you & it is not too late. send him the trees_ otherwise not I am fearful it is a little too late but I suppose it is cold with you yet- in fact it is my [back[illegible]] here- [it from a] here last night Yours [illegible] Mr [illegible] Young

Lincoln April 13th/ 59 Dr. Kennicot. Dear Sir Mr. R. B. La [them] for whom I sent you an order yesterday has concluded to increase his bill us per enclosed slip. I hope you will get it in time to send with the others Mr. L. is a rich man the original proprietor of this town has a beautiful residence of 4 acres of ground in town & I have induced him to go to work & improve it in this way.
