La Moille, Nov. 27th 185[4?].
Friend Kennicott
Yours of 21st inst. at hand.
Flattered that you esteem productions of my pen so highly. Will try and write something in time, on the Strawberry[underlined], and Planting Timber for Shelter on Prairie's. remember I shall take no offence, if you neglect to publish.
I wish to be sure[underlined] of a copy of "Transactions," would gladly pay any price for them.

The only Evergreens I am now wholesaling are White Pine, & Am. Arbor Vitae, have sold considerable many Norway Spruce.
I have sold no plants this fall. I have good three year old Red Romanite, Yellow Bellflowe[r?] & Limber [Trig?] root grafts, how many of them must I deliver in bundles at Depot, Mendota for the lot of Roses &c?
In great haste Yours sincerely Samuel Edwards.
