5 (?), WRIGH STREET
CLINETOWN,
FREETOWN,
11.5.76

Dear Mr. Driskell,

I am writing this letter personally
to you, as I got your [crossed out: yuo (?)] address through yourself.

You gave us (students) your address, when you visited our
country (Sierra Leone), and School (Freetown Secondary School
for Girls) in 1973.

Being the chairman at the department of art, I think
you will be the right person to ask for all the necessary
conditions for one to pursue the Art degree course at
your university. My difficulty is base on the
financial expense, as [crossed out: o] my Country does not award
Scholarship to students for further Studies in your Country.

I will be really grateful if you could send
me a guide book to your university, including
financial expense and all the necessary qualifications.
Also could you please send me a list of less
expensive universities where an Art degree Course
is done.

I hope I will receive an early reply.

Thanks in advance,

Yours faithfuly
Fatmalta (?) Deen
(Miss).

This transcription was well done, and find that everything appears to be accurate to the guidelines, all the readable words are correct, and the lines break in the transcription as they do in the original text. I added the words that were crossed out in the transcription as well. Other than the crossed out words I added everything seems acceptable.
