Friday morning
Dear child my first thoughts were of you & your dear ones this morning! God! protect you from every evil!!! Tell Christina her mother & the children are quite well this morning & pussy better. I told Gimpa to give her message to Lana & to bring the bundle if found & give to Christina Clemantine. Gimpa has to spend all his time now at Hamilton attending to that unfortunate cold. I must now give dear [Fip?] the letters - Kiss the little darlings & give much love to dear Wm. & Cousin A. Your devoted mother A M King
