Yours by Wilson is recd I cannot say what time I can come up I am off for Bayou Sarah this morning & will be Back as soon as I asssertain how the suit will go or whether it will be Tryed this court or not Frank P. spent a whole week at Court & It is hard he intends to sue his creditors & take the benefit of the insolvent law This I suppose is done in order to get his evidence which will in all probabillilty show us and our mortgages this could have been prevented by your timely interference only
I Recd on ac/ct of Mrs. Prices a note on the 15th $3000 which you can give her credit for I have already credited her note with the Ant. Ballard I have recd a reply to my addressed to Tennessee which has met with a suitable response & I do not how I am to get off unless I can make some money arangements the money from Mrs. P does not pay the Amt I have advanced the Conserns & I have no money at presant & do not know how I can Get any untill I can get my Cotten gined however I must hurry to Tennessee as the Game my be Blacked write me to N Orleans I would have sent you the pork but I had not the money to buy my own Ballard I feel deserted by all those I have failed to served but dont give up the ship As usual Isaac Franklin
