Monday 25th June 1860 finished plowing pump field the 4th time laid by That field Eun Tied Barn field of wheat and turns the hags in Stacked hay in mud road meadow had 4 large stacks 4 4horses loads in each 18 loads in all commenced cutting winter oats they froze aint last winter until there was not more than half a stand we cut them + let them Sun before tying them up

Teusday 26th June 1860 commenced plowing Thu Athow field of corn the 5th time commenced cutting oats with cradles in house field let them cure until afternoon Theu Tilld up + shocked with all hands quite warm 88

Wednesday 27th June 1860 oats too Green to cut run 16 plows in the Athow field + finished it plowed + haed 1 with potatoes cut Hungarian Grap + orchard grap in potatoe patch finshed halling in rye warm Ther 90

Thursday 28 June 1860 cut oats until noon + let Them Sun in afternoon tied Theu up Ther 92 Dry

Friday 29 June 1860 cut oats as yesterday in House field getting verry Dry + hot cow suppering for rain twist verry much Ther 94

Saturday 30 June 1860 cut oats Ther 92

Monday 2st July 1860 light shower of rain yesterday wet the ground 1/4 inch cut oats today in 4 arce field quite warm corn suffering for rain Ther 94 Deg

Tuesday 3 July 1860 cut oats in House field until not got done all but some winter oats Ther worried tar 96

Wednesday 4th July 1860 cut oats in mud road field verry hot + org Ther 98 hotest day this year

Thursday 5 July 1860 cut oats at time town in fore noon in afternoon cut winter oats in house field Ther at 92 in the evening had a light shower of rain

Friday 6 July 1860 cut oats in mud road field at we had a good shower of rain wet ground 2 in deep

Saturday 7 July 1860 raining moderately this morning stoped by 10 acre wet the perhaps 3 in Dup in afternoon all hands plowes their cown patches borh sick

Monday 9 July 1860 plowed cherry orchard corn the 4 time with 6 plows until noon 6 hands cut oats until noon Theu all hands bound up

Teusday 10 July 1860 Finshed cutting oats by noon to day we have made 3515 Dag oats in all verry large binds + The best oats I have ever seen grow on my farm finished plowing cherry orchard corn the last plowing we do

Wednesday 11th July 1860 Halled in oats with 3 wagons all day verry warm Ther 94

Thursday 12 July 1860 Halled oats with 3 wagons pots sick not so warm to day by verry dry our corn is firing and suffering for rain finished halling oats out of House field + turned in the hogs

Friday 13 July 1860 Halled oats with 3 wagons Potts sick got our barn full of wheat + oats + not done halling oats yet but it too wet to hall stoped + went halling mauere from the barn yard on a lot of 5 Acres worth of corn crib that one to and to low in orchard crop + clowes

Saturday 14 July 1860 halled manure and made fence in the Roberts orchard cut Hungarian Graps

Monday 16th July 1860 commenced thrashing wheat Thrashed our may wheat 310 Dap made 110 Bu

Teusday 17th July 1860 thrashed wheat Holdin Sunth helps us

Thursday 18 July 1860 Thrashed wheat heat Ther 92

Thursday 19th July 1860 Halled in oats with 2 wagons 2 hands moving + the other hands putting up straw did not Thwaod Wheat to day Smith could not help us Ther 96

Friday 20th July 1860 Throwed wheat until noon broke our Thrashes + quit got about 50 Bu to Trash yet in the Eveing went to mowing with 5 hakds in mud road meadow Rained a good shower wet the ground 1 1/2 in deep verry hot Ther 94

Saturday 21 July 1860 mowed until noon Theu put up the Hay very hot Ther 96

Monday 23 July 1860 Rained a good shower yesterday + Rained this morning a good shower Ground wet 3 in deep half season mowed Ther 100 yesterday

Teusday 24 July 1860 mowed in shop meadow + halled Hay not so hot

Wednesday 25 July 1860 mowed + halled Hay in shop meadow verry sick

Thurday 26 July 1860 mowed in shop meadow dug potatoes +8

Friday 27 July 1860 mowed + halled hay Dug potatoes +8

Saturday 28 July 1860 finished mowing shop meadow + hegen cassel meadow halled hay some rain in the evening

Sunday 29 July 1860 good shower of rain wet the ground 2 or 3 in deep

Monday 30th July 1860 commenced breaking stubble for wheat next to Daw wards with 4 2 horse plows 3 hands mowing in cassel meadow + halling hay

Tuesday 7 Aug 1860 stated to the mounting to be gone two weeks

Friday 17 Aug 1860 got back from the mountains Rained 12 + 13 Aug good season been plowing for 4 days past

Saturday 18 Aug 1860 run + plows in house feud compweatig at Smith Grove

Monday 20 1860 Aug rained a good season

Friday 24 Aug been plowing with 5 plows sineu Monday in eveing Rained a good seasow ground too wet to plow

Saturday 25 Aug 1860 plowed

Tuesday 28 Aug 1860 finished house field + commenced in mud road fied

Monday 3 Septr 1860 been plowing until last friday + saturday stoped 3 plows to thrash wheat for 6 Jaws + 1 crauges Rained yesterday + to day a good season

Wednesday 5 Septr 1860 moved office from the store to the house ground too wet to plow commenced pulling fodder

Thurday 13 Septr 1860 finshed pulling fodder saved about 5000 Bundles in Cassel field for the sheep but 20 Acres Lops to day in Fulford field Hight Frost hakce 40 ham

Friday 14 Septr 1860 tied Fodder + halled hay until noon Theu commenced Cutting off corn in shop field finished morning by Meadow still cool

Saturday 15 Septr 1860 cut corn + halled Hay Ive finished halling hay from beg meadow had 13 4 horse loads sent to Live Kiln for a food of Line Cove

Monday 17 Septr 1860 commenced Raining at 3 oclock this morning and continued to rain until Wednesday occasionally

Saturday 22 Septr 1860 been mowing shop meadow + cutting off corn in Pump field finished cutting corn cut 45 Acres

Monday 24 Septr 1860 Commenced sowing White wheat in Fulford field we plow it in with Seuter + There Harrow The ground was well broke with 2 horse plows in July

Thursday 28 Septr 1860 finished sowing White Wheat we sow 32 Bu wu 32 Acres

Thursday 4 Octr 1860 Rained all last ngiht and raining hard this morning Stoped in afternoon. Ground very wet [?] in Barn

Friday 5 Oct 1860 Still cloudy but no rain 4 hands clearing out ditch in house field the others pulling up pea vines

Satursday 6 Oct 1860 ground too wet to plow pulled up pea vines got done

Monday 8 Oct rained yesterday again + in the afternoon to day we had a verry hard Rain Thunder Shower Ditching + fencing at fulford place

Tuesday 16th Octr 1860 Killing Frost this morning ther 32 Deg pulled + halled corn finished Fulford field made about 200 Bu on 20 Acres about half crop

Wednesday 17 Octr 1860 finished gathering the corn in Fulforn field + halled in the tops

Thursday 18th Oct 1860 gathered the corn Athow made on the Fulford place + sold to MR Lchaffin he pals us $500 we gathered it in our clay commenced 5 owing purple straw wheat in the fulford field where we had corn quite cloudy
