The foregoing lines were written & subscribed, as
above, without date, during the canvass when Thomas
Jefferson was chosen President of the U.S.

For baldness or to prevent the loss of hair --
Fill a bottle with Lobelia herb, then pour in
whisky or New England rum, & sweet oil, equal parts of
each; wash the head, once or twice a day, with this
liquid, and it will restore the hair when lost, or
prevent Its loss, & give it a fine gloss. —
