Dear Sirs
Enclosed herewith we hand
you C.A. Hills letter it seems from his letter
that if exertions are made that the note
of Robt A. Taylor endorsed by Hill, might
be secured. We have referd Mr Hill
to you and wish you to take such steps
in this business, that will best protect our
interest - and particularly request your attention
to it, as delay may cause the debt
to be lost. We have had the pleasure
of addressing you several times about our business
in your hand, and from your delay in not making
us remittances and sending on the Dfts of Hinton
& Brame we have suff'd loss, and experienc'd
much serious inconvenience. We are now
waiting an answer to our last & hope you
will not let it be many days before we hear
from you. The Dfts on Henton & Brame
must be dated on the day the sale was to take
place of Chalmers land at 9 [?] fm that time
