Same -- warmer a little -- PM busy overhauling old file of the Reese River Reveille which I brought from Austin -- Had a few unfilial remarks from my son Alfred about burning wood -- Bed at 11:30 -- The High School 11 went up to Carson today and beat the Carson High School 11 at foot ball 72 to 0 --

Saturday Nov 27

Same -- The Berkeley University 11 arrived this morning and were met by our students with University band, 16 pieces, PM they played lively game of foot ball at the "campus" with our University 11, and beat them 20 to 6 -- Evening minstrel & variety show of our University boys at Opera House -- well attended -- Pretty good -- Bed 12 -- The Berkeleys went home tonight's train -- They were beaten by the Stanfords 28 to 0 last Thursday --

Same -- Odd jobs about home in the PM -- Morning train from Cal, which should have arrived at 8 AM -- arrived at 7 PM, 11 hours late -- 4 freight cars
