To make one Saline draught
The same proportion to be followed for many.
20 grains of Salt of Wormwood
One Spoonful of Lemmon Juice
3 Spoonfuls of Barley or plain Water
and two of Mint Water, or as you like
To this Barley Water two tea spoonfuls
of Honey may be added
When a larger quantity is wanted, or
more Draughts, Drink a Tea Cupfull of the
following mixture.
Salt of Wormwood 2 Drams
Lemmon Juice fresh squeezed 3 Ounces, wch.
is about 3 Table Spoonfuls, or wch. is surest,
till it tastes neither of the Salt nor acid
a pint & half of Barley Water, & pour Table
