Dear Sir

Convinced that the trial of Joseph
Hillstrom for the murder of J.S. Morrison was
but a mockery of justice That if he was
rich & powerful the verdict would be set aside.
I appeal to you to exercise your
Executive clemency toward this man. He
has no money & no friends of influence.

Of course if this man is killed
under force of law by the State of Utah
