You will please take notice that the Defendant John D. Lee appeals from the judgement and sentence of the Court in the said cause, and also from the order of the Court overruling the motion in arrest of judgement and from the order of the Court overruling the motion of defendant for a new trial in said cause - to the Supreme Court of the Territory of Utah -in the United States of America said appeal is taken upon questions of both law and fact as fully appears in the Defendant's Bill of Exemptions on file in said District Court - and the Records of said Court -
