town again & saw couple of peachy lasses. Drank 2 hot chocolates & bottle of coca cola. [Caused] a very liberal action of kidnap. Dandy Supper. Soliloquized & orated for [Charles Anderson] Wickliffe (class of 1905) & [Neill Wilson] Funk (class of 1905). Efforts were not appreciated. Hurrah — bought some coal & had a fire. Went to Jeff Society

& discussed prison made goods. Our side was defeated. Came home & discussed various questions with Funk & Wickliffe until 12 P.M. Matrimony etc. Finally went to bed. — — — — — — — — — — Sunday Got up at 9 A.M. had a fine breakfast. Dressed & went to Church.

Flirted with a cute little girl – found out that her name was Linda Carter. Wrote to Hortense. Fine dinner. Went for mail— got letter from Frankfort peneten— tiary. Studied from 3:30 to 5:30. Went to see Chief, Doc, [William Thomas] Anglin (class of 1906) & [William Henry] White (class of 1905). Some supper

Went to church— sat in balcony. During prayer all girls rubbered at fellows in gallery. Chased around to 2nd Baptist Church—it was over, but listened to a young lady rehearse a song. Saw some cute little Rawling Institute girls. Shook hands with Mr Tribble. Chased home

sat around & talked until eleven. Bed ———————— Monday Disappointed because I didn’t get any letters. Ten of them owing me. Wrote to mama. Had some good grub to eat. Played some Melo-Drama
