Providence Sept 11th 1871

Mr. W. W. Crapo

Dear Sir,

I received your letter dated Sept 6th in regards to my claim on the Florida at present. I cannot come to New Bedford very well as I run a wholesale wagon and I have a route for each day in the week. But if you cannot get the papers prepared without me I will come any day you may apoint. I can leave one day as well as another.

Dear Sir,

I think you will find by looking over the enclosed document a little mistake the Barque was burned in the Atlantic not the Pacific.

what about my Share of oil and freight will I draw that from Mr. Howland if he succeeds in geting it.
