A few days ago I acknowledged the Riot of our late Favours by Capt H[illegible] & in Consequence thereof, wrote for Insurance by several opportunities upon sixty [thats?] of Tb. in the fauquier, to sail with Conway, I have carefully [overlool?] my deet currt. & find in it, an Error, which I hope you'll be immediately vensible of [illegible] the article of Insurance upon sixty hhds of Tob. by the Jacob & Joanna carried out L97.12.0 upon L600__ at [illegible], which Prem. of 6 Guineas, amounts to little more than forty pounds upon L600__ but gent, notwith Handling I wrote for Insurance upon [illegible] Quantity of Tob. ley the Hacob & Joanna unless my Letters for Insurance, geet safe to hand, before the arrival of the ship, I expect you will not charge me with insurance, I certainly wrote for Insurance uppon [illegible] Tob. & as well as I remember the ships I wrote by, were all taken, tho I may be mistaken, therefore, please to inclose me by the first Opportunity a copy of my Letter for Insurance upon [Clarkson?] which will satisfy one_ I would by no means accuse
