Whereas this church is desirous of placing itself in an unmistakeable [attitude?] before our christian breth-ren throughout the land and for all time with reference to questions of distinction among the followers of Christ, therefore. Resolved: That we purpose to make no distinctions whatever based on caste, color, race, or on grounds other than christian caracter according to our articles of faith and covenant, in admission of members and in christan fellowship with them. Resolved: That the resolutions passed Jany 2812 1868 at a regular business meeting of the church, against which a portion of the church, against which a portion of the church published a formal protest, are here by rescinded.
