I am instructed by the Committee appointed to set a value to the land lying south of the residences of O. O. Howard and J. W. Alvord formerly included as land out on [great?] plat as part of Howard Avenue, that they have had the same under consideration and recommend as follows: The portion south of and adjoining Gen. Howards land to be sold at twenty cents (20 c) a square foot, the portion south of, and adjoin ing J. W. Alvords land be sold at fifteen cents (15 c) a square foot. (over)
