Dear Balloch If the [endorses?] wont pay the note without the [joint?] $1000 note you will give it to them—He is in ^your^ possession in the Box. Or, let Mr. Hayden [give?] me five $200 notes payable to each & I will endorse them for use—You [retaining?] in that case [here?], & also the $1000 one,

Dont pay me [Chatte?] until the [walk?] is all [chaud?] [If?] & pointed with [cervest?] [nicely?]—This is what the work [just?] agree to do
