Mrs. Alvord

Your note is at hand and I am very glad [when?] of Mr Alvords improvd condition. The [endorses?] on the note of $1000, at the 2w national. Came up and paid their part and I paid Mr Alvords share. The company paid, some so I did not have to pay only $181.27 instead of $200. Mr Hayden said the rest of them did not [case?] for any notes as individuals, but he gave me one for Mr Alvords share, which I enclose for [here?] to sign—Mr [Warnes?] has paid me $411833 on the receipt which was left with me. The [stone?] man [fun?] [liked?] up the walk in good shape pointing it up with [comment?] and I paid him $45—I shall pay [Mr?] [Rungers?] his word [Bill?] today. I have not seen Mr Fleming, but have written him a long letter on the subject and I feel sure he will pay just as soon as he possibly [can?]. I enclose some letters that have been sent to me. The folks at the Bank wish to know where Mr Alvords book is [no?] which he kept the [lunched?] account. It seems that the [court?]

in Florida, have called on the [Receive?] for a report. Mr [Stockney?] wishes me to ask Mr Alvord if he fixed the 2n mortgage of the Seneca [Bonces?] as he did the first [S?] as [Suncceptance?] is, both mortgages were imperfect in some particular under the many land laws and Mr A, as President had perfected the first, and had to perfect the second mortgage. He will know what I mean.

Everything is [quite?] [on?] the hill and all join [in?] best wishes.
